Conversations in the Classroom

  • Conversations in the Classroom is a student-centered program that provides a safe and inclusive space for open dialogues. Through facilitated discussions and activities, students will explore various aspects of diversity and develop cultural sensitivity, empathy, and mutual respect. The first session will focus on topics related to diversity, microaggressions, and the importance of embracing different cultural backgrounds, races, sexual orientations, and religious beliefs.

  • The second session, Conversations in the Classroom Part 2, will delve into the critical issues of bullying, including cyberbullying, while exploring how cultural sensitivity can be integrated into this topic.

  • By addressing these issues directly, students will be encouraged to become advocates for a more compassionate and accepting school environment.
