Schools need training that reflects the situations their people actually face. D5 Consulting Group helps school districts and educational organizations strengthen staff safety, communication, leadership and emergency readiness through practical, interactive training.

Practical training for school staff

De-Escalation & Communication

For teachers, support staff, front-office teams and school leaders. Recognize escalation, choose clear language, set respectful boundaries and know when to step back or request help. Scenarios can reflect difficult conversations with families, coworkers and the people your school serves.

School Staff Safety & Active-Threat Preparedness

For school employees, administrators and safety teams. Build situational awareness, recognize warning signs, strengthen reporting and practice emergency communication. Training is planned around staff responsibilities and your existing response procedures.

Leadership, Teamwork & Difficult Conversations

For principals, department leaders, supervisors and staff teams. Develop self-awareness, strengthen communication, navigate conflict and lead through change. Choose a focused workshop or discuss a coordinated leadership-development series.

Digital Safety & Cybersecurity Awareness

For educators, school leaders and other employees. Recognize phishing and social engineering, protect accounts and personal information, and respond appropriately to online harassment and impersonation. Select a cybersecurity or digital-safety focus based on your needs.

First Aid, CPR & AED

For school teams seeking group emergency-response training. D5 is an American Red Cross Licensed Training Provider. Course selection, covered age groups, prerequisites and certification requirements are confirmed before booking. Certification requires successful course completion.

Crisis Communication & Preparedness

For administrators, supervisors and designated response teams. Clarify roles, communicate under pressure and work through practical response scenarios. Scope is agreed around your setting and procedures; this is a separate focus from medical emergency certification.

Student programs

Student options include student success, digital safety and de-escalation, plus tailored re-entry programming for incarcerated learners. We confirm the audience, grade or age range, goals and appropriate curriculum before recommending a program. Staff training is not automatically a student course.

Frequently asked questions

Can you customize training for our district?

Yes. We discuss your audience, concerns and existing procedures, then recommend a scope with clear learning outcomes.

Can you provide training at our school?

On-site, live virtual and hybrid options depend on the selected program. First Aid, CPR and AED delivery must follow the chosen course requirements.

How long is a session, and what does it cost?

Length and pricing depend on the topic, audience size, location and delivery format. Your proposal confirms the schedule, scope and price.

Does training include professional-development credit?

Credit and approval depend on the selected program. Tell us your requirements so we can verify eligibility before booking. First Aid, CPR and AED certification is course-specific.

How do we request a proposal?

Share your school or district, intended audience, estimated attendance, training goals, location and preferred dates through our training inquiry form.
